Prep for the Selfie Scavenger Hunt

Download and Print: Snag the free printable and print out the scavenger hunt page as many times as you want. Regular paper works fine, but for extra durability, I recommend cardstock.

Checklist Check-In: Before kick-off, give the list a quick once-over to ensure all hunt items are available at your party spot. No one wants to search for a unicorn on the 4th!

Determine the Rules: The basic rules are simple. Take a selfie with each item on the list. The rest is up to you.

Are alliances allowed? Most folks have a phone for their selfie’s but the kiddos may need an adult to partner with. Note: If you want an affordable camera option for littles, these basic selfie cameras have held up to our rowdy munchkins for a solid 2 years now.

Are you allowed to use same item twice or do you require a unique photo for each entry item. .

Prizes are optional: But let’s be honest, everyone wants something a little more than bragging rights to walk away with. Competition is just more fun when prizes are involved. You know your crew best, but if you are feeling stumped, I’ve got you covered with the following ideas:

  • Local Attraction Tickets: Tickets to a nearby amusement park, museum, or zoo.
  • Restaurant Gift Cards: A meal at a popular local restaurant or a gift card for a food delivery service.
  • Event Passes: Tickets to a future local concert, sports event, or theater performance.
  • Portable Bluetooth Speaker: Great for summer gatherings and picnics.
  • Instant Camera: For capturing more fun moments in the future.
  • Outdoor Gear: Items like a hammock, cooler, or camping gear.
  • Board Games or Party Games: For future gatherings.
  • Amazon or Local Store Gift Cards: Versatile and always appreciated.
  • Cash Prize: Cold hard cash is simple and forever effective.
